Baba is a very intimidating person at first sight, but is a very caring, planted soul. When Amir was a little boy, Baba always took good care of his family, but not their emotional needs. Amir’s constant necessity for his father’s love is lived short when Baba sees some kids picking on Amir. When years pass, we see that Baba starts caring more for Amir, but still stands up for what he believes in.
