Kite Runner is a very inspirational novel that extremely highlights the actions and tensions of modern day Afghanistan. Every character had their strong and weak points throughout their life. The most pristine character throughout his life – though not the protagonist – would have to be Hassan, Hassan has virtually never failed to please Amir. Amir – the protagonist – failed to protect his “behind-the-scene” best friend and apparently half-brother which virtually put his life out of whack. This novel is the epitome of modern day Afghanistan, and has highlighted attributes found in modern day Afghanis and notable figures in life and has concocted a magnificent work of art.
